Album Notes

As former host and producer of one of Vancouver\'s most popular underground hip hop shows on the FM dial (Raw Radio on CITR 101.9 FM), and residencies at such Vancouver institutions as The Roxy & Brandi\'s, J.T. James aka James Divine (born James Thirsk) has managed to build a loyal following over the last few years. Working as a DJ for the last ten years, J.T. is a prominent figure in the Vancouver and Whistler scenes, known to be one of the most versatile selectors in the 604. Whether it\'s hip hop, house, retro, rock or breaks - J.T. is known to throw it down. His debut release under the J.T. James moniker has people talking. Citing influences ranging from AC/DC to De La Soul, Mr. James has become known for his clever, sexy and funny rhyme play, solid songwriting and tight production skills. A jack of all trades J.T. has worn the hat of DJ, engineer, MC, producer and more recently head of A&R at Templeton Records.
