Grammy Award winning keyboardist and founding member of The Amazing Rhythm Aces, James Hooker, was born in South Carolina. For over forty years James has been an ¨A list¨ studio musician in Memphis, Muscle Shoals and Nashville. The list of artists he has toured with around the world reads like who´s who.

¨Slow Boat To Memphis is James´first solo album released on the Coolerator label.

James now lives in Mallorca, Spain.
