enlightening music
author: Annie wallack
One of the things I love about James' music is that it is so enlightening. It's an expression of something deeper, kind of a 5th dimension of life where there's so much more joy and possibilitiy. I don't mean anything intellectual or superficial. I get the feeling that James has walked a road through life's humanness to divinity, to the true nature of existence to who we really are. What created this evolution in consciousness is something that only comes through expressing life/music/ the muse and manifesting it in Earth. His music is diverse, and playful and serious all at the same time, like life. I realize that this is high praise, but nothing less would do. This is the music of a full and diverse human being. A person can find themselves in this music.

A Song by James is worth a Zillion words!
author: Dave Harvey
James Hurley writes and performs some of the most intelligent and heartfelt songs around - with such a smooth and soulful style. I first encountered James's music live at Kulak's Woodshed in North Hollywood, California (www.kulakswoodshed.com) and the same joy and intelligence and soul in his live performances comes through in his work on this album. Not only do words fail me in feebly attempting to descibe the beauty and depth of his music, but also James in one of the nicest and thoughtful people I've met. If you are a fan, please support him any way you can!
