This brings me back to the days back home when we use to ride our bikes down to the water front and jump off the warf... Always use to hear Jamesie and back then it was the Happy Seven when we would pass the market.

this cd was just what i was hoping it would be,a v.i. scratch band sound complete with a saxophone and perhaps a brakedrum being played..,amusing lyrics and old timey songs....reminded me of christmas on st john in the 60's when,at perhaps midnight or later, a local scratchband, full of familiar and jovialfaces , would come to the front steps of our home above cruz bay and play a few songs, starting with GUHD MARHNIN ,GUHD MARHNIN,AH COME FAH MEH GUAVABERRY(rum) while my parents would offer up a round of drinks to sustain them for the trip to the next home and another drink and so on until the sun was about to rise....... jamsie and the allstars are a bit of living history of the virgin islands' culture.....every virgin islander should have a copy of this cd........
