Paths of the Just actually shows the depth of Kole\'s song writting abilities and superb guitar playing. from Blusey Roots Americana to Country to Jazz to Rockabilly to Rockin\' this effort by Kole has it all! Kole should get well deserved airplay with tunes like Once in a Blue Moon, Leaving Las Vegas Blues, Break It Down and Better That Way. His blend of acoustic and electric instrumentation along with well thought out lyrics and smooth vocals hit the mark!
This is by far Kole\'s best effort and should launch him into the international spotlight!

Paths of the Just

James Kole\'s music shows influences in roots Rock, Blues, Country, Rockabilly and even a bit of Folk (he plays some Harmonica and Lap Steel on earlier albums). This CD is a compendium of some of his music, plus a few brand-new tracks.
He always has a fresh approach to a style, the songs just stick with you. After listening to his music one can hear artist influences like Dylan, Clapton, Holly and Perkins but just when you think you know how a song will go, he\'ll surprise you with a different musical path(listen to \"Paths of the Just\" and \"Baby-oh Blues\"). Refreshing and long overdue, this music is for all who are sick of the pop world as it stands now. Trust me, hear James Kole today. \"Paths\" will be your go-to CD for quite awhile.
