ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This LIVE recording was done by Peter Cutler, who was doing sound for the now defunct Mama Hillybeans in Tehachapi, CA. James Lee was completely unaware that it was being recorded and consequently you get the complete unadulterated entertainer musician at his most natural. Performing with only his Collings guitar, a Roland ME-50 and a Roland RE-20 looping box, as well as his extremely quick wit and funny dialogues, you will get a sound picture of what a James Lee Stanley concert is like. This is Volume I of the concert. A second volume is also available of the second set of the evening. There are no second takes, no do overs, no overdubs, this is live James Lee Stanley.
