Album Notes

This seasoned performer has appeared with Lucy Kaplansky, Tom Pacheco, Caroline Herring, Buddy Mondlock, Janis Ian, Louise Taylor, Chuck Pyle, Cheryl Wheeler, Lynn Miles, Jack Williams, along with many other talented artists.

Through the years James has performed at such notable venues as The Brokerage, The Red Cedar Soundstage, Café Siné, Berkner Hall, Gerde's Folk City, Carnegie Recital Hall, New York City's Town Hall, The Summer Festival at Heckscher Park, radio stations WUSB and WBLI, The Hard Luck Cafe, Mountain Finch House Concerts, and on the college coffeehouse circuit, from New York to Tennessee, from Michigan to South Carolina.

James honed his songwriting and performing skills as a member of the acoustic group "The Braid", in addition to recording for ABC/Dunhill. After having several songs published and covered by various artists, his second full-length solo CD is available.
