Instrumental Rock guitar casserole. A spicy mix of modern Satriani inspired mayhem, with a twist of acidic drum and synth flavours, tossed with a large portion of blues spices...It suits many guitar tastes as well as lovers of exciting rock guitar hymns.

I am a guitar teacher and clinician from Melbourne, Australia and currently share my time between playing live, writing and producing music and working the frets.
I also do clinics and workshops for Roland and Boss, showcasing their recording and guitar gear (thanks guys).
Career highlights include touring the US and South America with Australian legends Men at Work.
Blown is a compilation of rockin' guitar tunes written over the last 5-6 years. The sounds and styles vary but the ROCK takes a front seat throughout.
From the modern loop and synth filled sounds of Acid Tongue, Racing and Space Talk through to the bare boned melodic ballad Take a Breath and the total shredfest in in the title track Blown.
This cd is an awesome driving/racing cd!
WARNING...When listening to Blown while driving you WILL speed. Influences include.... Stevie Ray, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Richie Kotzen, Zakk Wylde, Joe Satriani, and Jeff Beck to name a small few.

Debut envelope-pusher from Aussie virtuoso
author: Guitarist Australia magazine
Uplifting, original and superbly produced, it's
at once hard to believe this is the work of a
relative new comer. The bravery and initiative that
Ryan displays by striking out into this very risky
territory is to be applauded - as is the fact that
he unquestionably pulls it off. Ryan names some of the greatest guitar
legends of our time as his influences, and it
must be said, that he has studied them well for
in a double-blind (or should that be double deaf?)
experiment, I'm confident Blown would
hold its own against anything by the masters.
Songs such as
Racing throw in unpredictable changes in scene,
Nothing short of anthemic in size, while the
ocean-breeze-like acoustic brightness of
Lifted brings sunlight into the room even as
I write this review at 1.47am.
Stand out tracks: The Glory, Racing, Lifted,
Take A Breath
