The CD (Where Dreams Come True) is a kind of retrospective. Gospel singer (James Todd Johnson) shares some of the best from his 25 years in music. All new studio recordings of his favorite and most requested songs. Each one holds a special meaning for the artist. For instance, (How Great Thou Art) is the first gospel song that he ever performed and (Why) was written by his friend and vocal producer (Marty Funderburk). This collection of music is a deeply personal one for the artist and sure to be considered a favorite by many!

Thank you to my mother Sharon Johnson. Every recording that I've ever done has been achieved because of your hard work and sacrifice. How can I thank you enough for that and for every other way that you've supported me. May God bless you now and forever more!

Thank you to (Russian Artist Elena Ilyina) for the use of her beautiful painting and its title (Where Dreams Come True). What an amazing talent you have. Thanks for sharing it with me and the world. I'm so glad to call you and your family my friends. May God bless you all!

This is the second project that I've had the privilege to record at Hilltop and Daywind Studio. It was a thrill to work once again with producers Johnny Sansom and Marty Funderburk. Thanks to you both for sharing your talents and for making this project much better than I ever would've imagined. Johnny, you assembled some truly talented people for these recording sessions and it's greatly appreciated. Another big thank you goes to Marty Funderburk for suggesting the song (Why) that he co-wrote with Ken Poskey. Words can't express how wonderful it's been for me, to have had the chance to record one of your anointed songs. Thank You, thank you and thank you again! I also want to make sure and thank all the Musicians, Backup Singers, Engineer's, Mixers, Graphic Designers and anybody else who may have played a part on this project. Dedicated To (Elvis 1997-2011)

The day after I finished laying down the vocal tracks for this project, my dog (Elvis) had to be put to sleep. I'll never be able to sing or hear these songs again without thinking of him. Because of that, I've dedicated this CD to his memory. God brought a beautiful companion and friend into my life, at a time when I really needed one. I had the honor and privilege of loving and caring for Elvis, for close to 14 years. There was much laughter and joy in having him around. He taught me so much about friendship and true unconditional love. I'll love and miss him always!
