“Welcome To The U Of K”, Jamie Saylor’s debut single, is an upbeat, rocking country anthem written for fans of good music and the University of Kentucky! Saylor’s soulful voice with a distinct country twang is sure to inspire and fire up all those tailgating at their favorite UK sporting event.
Jamie Saylor, former UK football player, UK alumni, and proud member of Big Blue Nation, has been living in and around Nashville, TN for the past six years. Paying his dues by playing at every bar that would have him, and by working nights as a singing waiter. “What better way to get your music out there than by showcasing the things you love most: music, college sports, a good party, and The University of Kentucky Wildcats!, ” says Saylor.
Saylor, whose father is from Harlan County Kentucky, caught wildcat fever at an early age. That passion for UK eventually lead him to become a member of the University of Kentucky football team from 2001 to 2004. Saylor started off as a walk on, earned a scholarship his senior year, and was voted Most Inspirational Player in 2003 along with being inducted into the Frank G. Ham Society of Character for UK Student-Athletes. Saylor received his Bachelor’s Degree from UK in 2004.
“My new single “Welcome To The U Of K” can be summed up in four letter C.A.T.S. Listen in and enjoy a place just south of Heaven, and “Welcome To The U Of K.” Go Big Blue!
‘Preciate Ya!
Jamie Saylor
