ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jamie Willard’s 30 plus years of playing guitar has evolved into a rendition of beauty and grace. It has been described as “Intricately detailed, a pleasure not only to listen to but to see”.

At a recent workshop, Jamie had an opportunity to play for fingerstyle guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel, upon hearing Jamie play he said, “That’s brilliant” and praised Jamie as a gifted guitarist with a wonderful sense of melody. Jamie’s artistry ranges from Classical to Jazz to Country & Rock, each with its own passion and raw sophistication along with Jamie’s own style and wit. Jamie had the good fortune of tremendous teachers throughout his career. A graduate of the Flip Hayes School of Guitar, Jamie also was fortunate enough to study with classical master Paul Sweeny. Jamie’s playing has taken him across the USA and as far as Europe where he performed for receptive audiences. Closer to home Jamie has done both session guitar work and live performances for countless artists and groups. Jamie has opened up for such artists as Diamond Rio, Toby Keith, Martina McBride and a host of others. These days Jamie is immersed in the world of fingerstyle guitar, but still has plenty time for his group Symple Measures. Jamie's composition, technique and passion are some of the most beautiful, detailed and just plain fun guitar music you may ever hear.

Prismic Sound
I love this guy! He is awesome weather your going down the road listening to him, or live in person. His songs take you through stories your imagination creates, while watching his fingers strum and pick at the guitar. I had never seen anyone play a guitar like he does, and now I think everyone should be that talented ;). Also I do have to mention Symple Measures the band he is in is just as intriguing to watch and listen too!

Frankly Speaking

Simply Astounding!
I\'m quite amazed. It\'s not so much that the music is great but that each composition seems to have it\'s own identity. It\'s like a 10 course dinner for your ears. At times where I thought I heard multiple guitars, there were subtle clues that I was actually hearing only one. It could take years to figure out how it\'s done. I clearly heard clues that the guitar, or guitars, may not be tuned using any known conventional tunings. KUDOS! It\'s also very raw. I get the distinct impression that a live performance would sound a lot like what I\'m hearing; and that is very refreshing. I highly recommend this CD.

Amazing talent. Each song is a pleasant journey. I really love the complex arrangements and the wonderful melodies. His style is so unique, you can hear something new each time you listen. It is so nice that there are talented artists that are willing to break away from the pack and create music like this! Five stars is not enough :)

Jamie\'s masterful kmowledge of the fretboard and technique, makes this cd a pleasure to hear again and again. The intricate passages flow so easily and the melodic passages just stay with you. A masterful guitarist and musician that knows no bounds. This is a must have for any collection!

Wow!!
Superb!!

What more could anyone possibly say? Your command of the fretboard and alternate guitar tunings clearly announce your virtuosity. The passion of your playing shines through on each song which is a pleasure to immerse one\'s self in throughout the day. (It won\'t leave my iPod anytime soon!!)

If you\'re not already signed to a major label sit tight, they\'d be silly not to move on this album alone.

I\'m sure my next comments will not be solitary, \"More, more, more!!\"

Great CD!!
