ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jamie Williams - Vocals

Jamie is a singer/songwriter based in the county of Essex, England. He has been singing in bands since 1993, including 4 years with heavy rockers ‘The Blast’ and 5 years with soul/blues band ‘The Harvey Williams Band’; writing many of the bands songs. He is now part of 'The Jamie Williams Band' which gigs regularly on the pub/club circuit throughout the eastern counties and can also be seen at festivals. Jamie is also an incredibly prolific & talented songwriter with a catalogue of over 1,000 songs to his credit, some of which have been performed & recorded by The Blast and The Harvey Williams Band, while others he performs as part of his acoustic solo set. His début solo album 'This Is Me' was recorded in 2004 & has been well received.

Ian Woolway - Guitar

Ian has a musical career encompassing blues, rock, jazz and classical music. He has studied and gained diplomas on the classical guitar but the main focus of his playing is blues, rock and jazz on the electric guitar. He has provided the guitar for many West End hit musicals such as "The Rocky Horror Show", "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Blood Brothers". He has established a thriving guitar teaching practice and has produced the Guitaredge online guitar tuition web site. He has seen many of his students go on to become respected musicians in their own right. In recent years Ian has collaborated with Jamie to provide much of the original material recorded and performed by the Jamie Williams Band.

Josh Graham - Bass

Josh has been playing the guitar and bass around 15 years, he has played with Stone High, Those Boys and Their Kites plus Obie One in Essex, London, Wales and Cambridgeshire. Josh's main influences has been Jazz Funk, Latin and R&B.

Sean Collyer - Drums

Sean began his musical career at the age of four tapping on anything and everything including his mum's thick knitting needles. He was influenced during his formative years by his dad's vast collection of jazz albums. By the time he was 16 and playing in the Green Spiders (a band formed at his local school) he was under the spell of artists such as Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Santana, and many other 60s bands. After playing in a band with ex Fleetwood Mac guitarist Jeremy Spencer Sean moved on to the jazz scene in Belgium performing regular gigs in two jazz clubs. He recently returned to the UK from the nightclub scene in Japan where it was necessary (and a great learning experience) to play a variety of music. Favourite drummers include Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Jeff Porcaro, Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd and the great Dave Garibaldi from Tower of Power.
