Jami Lula has recorded his first band record since 1996. Spirit in the House is an amalgam of players from Sweden to Austria, New Jersey Detroit and Los Angeles. This record sounds GREAT! basic tracks for this record were recorded @ House of Blues Studios in the Encino Hills, on Fathers Day June 17 of 2008. 13 tracks in one day. The band had rehearsed from mid April up until a few days before recording the basic tracks. Michael Gayle was the Producer Doug Tyo was the engineer on the original session. Most of the vocal takes from this session ended up on the record without overdubs. the title track "There's a Healin Goin on" was recorded @ Glynn Sound Studios in Glendale. 2 voices. Jami Lula and Rob McDonald recorded all the voices for this track
