Jana co-starred with Valerie Harper and Mike Burstyn in the National Tour of the Charles Busch play The Tale of the Allergist's Wife. Jana's first Broadway show was Good News starring John Payne and Alice Faye where she played Patricia Bingham the Sorority Queen. Other Broadway shows to follow were I Love My Wife with Lenny Baker, James Naughton and Joanna Gleason, Crimes of the Heart the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Romance/Romance with Scott Bakula, and her favorite musical of all, Gypsy, where she played Mazeppa, the bump-it-with-a-trumpet stripper, while standing by for Tyne Daly as Mama Rose ... a role she played for 40 performances to critical acclaim.
On TV she's recently guest starred on LAW AND ORDER, CRIMINAL INTENT and LAW AND ORDER SVU. She also starred on an Emmy Award-winning episode of Cheers and had guest-starring roles on JAG, Roseanne, General Hospital as Sheila Houston, and Babylon 5 as Ambassador Tal.
Her one woman shows ONE HELL OF A RIDE! (The Songs of Cy Coleman) and GYPSY IN MY SOUL have played to rave reviews accross the country and are available for bookings.

The CD is co-produced and co-arranged by Broadway and pop songwriter Brian Gari, who wrote all of the songs on the album and collaborated on two of them with theatre and film legend, David Shire and pop songstress Lesley Gore.
Billboard magazine: "Sixteen of Gari's songs -- mostly love-lost or bitter-sweet reminiscences -- are presented with Robbins' emotional caring."
