Smooth Latin rhythms, beautiful melodies and a universal appeal will lure you in, only to be ambushed by the scorching intensity of JANDO’s twin flamenco guitar attack.

With their first official release, THE ROAD, founding members Jay Ybarra and Andrew Bateman present to you the result of years of classical training in theory and performance, giving a new perspective on a traditional old-world art form.
Thus the name Nuevo Flamenco.

With the simple, but highly effective arrangement of two flamenco guitars combined with various acoustic percussion instruments played by Jeremy Ooley and Maximillian Ybarra, JANDO preserves the purity and beauty of the traditional flamenco sound with an added popular appeal.
