\"Out of the numerous up and coming artists I\'ve listened to over the past few months Janeen Leah has caught my attention as one of the most gifted singer/songwriters to come into the independent scene. Her serene voice mixed with the ability to compose sophisticated pop tunes, that convey every emotion from zealous rockers to heartfelt love songs, is what makes Janeen\'s debut Time Is Never Wasted an album that will make you appreciate what good music is truly about. Time Is Never Wasted truly fits this album as Janeen has wasted little time making a name for herself, if this is only the beginning of things to come then I personally can\'t wait to see her grow and mature even more. One thing is certain if your looking for an album to get you away from the headache of conventional trends then do yourself a favor and pick up this release... a beautifully gifted artist who isn\'t afraid to put all her heart and soul into her music.\"

\"Her record, Time is Never Wasted, is my favourite release from last year...I keep returning to this one every day. Janeen\'s style is similar to other current singer-songwriters such as Sarah McLachlan, Norah Jones or Sheryl Crow. For my money, she puts them all in the shadows....... I mean, listen to any Norah Jones record and then listen to this one...come on! Given some national media and a vehicle for her great talent, she should make waves for sure.....This is one of the strongest records by an indie artist that I\'ve heard in some time. Do yourself a favor and go buy the record!\"

\"\'You Wasted A Good One\' sounds awesome on the radio. Such a powerful song. Been playing the heck out of it. It\'s so catchy and fits right in with the superstar artists and indie artists that we play around the clock that I keep expecting to hear you on Rick Dees\' countdown show.\"

Gifted artist, Janeen Leah recently traveled to Bombay, India to record her highly anticipated second album...a follow up to her well received debut album, \'Time is Never Wasted\'.
Janeen recorded in Bombay on an invite from talented composer and Bollywood musician, Tushar Parte.
This new album is the first collaboration for Janeen Leah and Tushar Parte. This union of artists that can only be described as magical. 10 songs came together and were recorded in just 6 days...when it\'s right, it\'s right and there\'s no need to take time to make something perfect when it is already perfect!
This album was also recorded analog, which is known for a timeless and warm tone....a tone that can not be captured in this digital age. And along with that timeless sound comes another element, it was recorded live in the studio!
This heart-felt and uplifting record is extremely needed in these troubling times we live in, uniting the east to the west to realize that we all have something to learn and to give to each other.
This record is fun, yet meaningful; heart-wrenching, yet hopeful; everything that fans have come to know is Janeen Leah with even more growth that comes from added life experience and the unity that is captured beautifully with the artistry of Tushar Parte.
It is set to be released January 2009.

\"Music to me in it\'s purest form is an expression of joy. Music has always been in my life. In fact my mother says that I was singing before I was talking. Music is one of my greatest gifts from God. I\'m deeply spiritual and always determined to use this gift and be grateful for it.
I remember at a very early age writing a song that my Mom helped me put together on the piano about nature and what a beautiful world God has created for His children to enjoy... after that song, I knew that that\'s what I wanted to do in my life and that I hoped I would touch hearts and uplift lives through my music.
I write songs that express every emotion, but even the sad and angry songs have an underlined message of hope and growth. For that is what life is all about, learning and growing.
When I was 14, my best friend taught me some chords on the guitar and I immediately began saving my babysitting money to buy my own guitar. When I got my guitar, I would sit in my room and play and play til my fingers bled.
Songs continuosly flow through me almost as easy as having a conversation with a very close friend. I\'m so grateful for this gift. I hope that through sharing my music that it might bring the same joy to others as it has brought to me.
I\'m so happy with the completion of my first album, \'Time is Never Wasted\'. It truly captured my style and what I\'m about. My love for rock and jazz music fused together in a way that is exactly me. I hope all who hear it, enjoys it and can relate to the messages...being uplifted through even the sad songs.\"
