Album Notes

Guitarist/composer Jane Miller's second CD release, Secret Pockets, is a collection of Jazz Standards and lesser known works by jazz composers including Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, and Vince Guaraldi, as well as two compositions by the leader/guitarist.

Jane Miller is a member of the guitar faculty at Berklee College of Music, and has been an active performer on the New England jazz scene.

Her working trio includes bassist Bob Simonelli and drummer Don Kirby, who shine here in this setting.

Joining the trio for the two original compositions are Jay Ashby-trombone, and Bill O'Connell-piano, both internationally acclaimed musicians.
