Album Notes

JANESVILLE is an eclectic country band based in Chicago. Singer/songwriter TORREYA LYN ("Torri"), launched the project that is now Janesville in April of 2004. A licensed attorney, Torreya prosecuted criminals and represented police officers for several years before realizing that she loves writing music and really hates the practice of law. She is still trying to adjust to the huge paycut she has taken, but she finds writing country songs much more enjoyable than writing summary judgment motions. OWEN COOPER is Janesville's talented lead guitar player and a co-writer on many of the tracks on this C.D. OWEN'S guitar work on this record is a work of art in itself.

Janesville has shared the stage with country stars like Randy Travis, Trace Adkins, Darryl Worley, Phil Vassar and Keith Anderson. This is their long-awaited debut C.D. They hope you enjoy it. www.myspace.com/janesville

Praise for "The Bruno Song"
"This is a cool mix of country and blues with some excellent blues edged guitar. The solid, believable vocal performance grabs just the right amount of sacasm and sincerity and the dry, up-front vocal sound is compelling and right in line with current commercial releases."
