PIANIST JANE WOOD RELEASES CD

Jane Wood, well known for her moving musical and spiritual
gifts and for countless students whom she taught to "tickle the keys", has recorded her first CD. It is a collection of seventeen piano solos, three of which are originals. The CD was engineered by McBride Studios and utlizes Earthworks PianoMic. Jane Wood's long list of credentials includes twenty-five years of private teaching. She is Music Director for the United Church of Dorset and E. Rupert, VT, where she plays organ, piano and conducts the choir. Over the years, Jane has cultivated the choir and has brought many passionate singers to a higher lever of musicality. She was choir director for, and performed with, Judy Collins, who has appeared twice at the Dorset Theater, VT. Jane has written and arranged several choral pieces and she wrote two hymns for the congregation. She sang backup in Nashville studios, has performed with several vocal ensembles and has been Music Director for numerous professional and community theatrical productions. She arranged and performed the music for "Peter Pan" (professional theater '06). Jane
trained extensively in the art of accompanying and utlizes that talent at many local and regional events.
