ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"...this New York City band wins the Truth-In-Advertising Award; 'jangle' is the operative sound here, and they'll appeal big time to fans of Bobby Sutliff, Walter Clevenger, Roger McGuinn, etc. In other words, Rickenbacker heaven." - Absolute Powerpop.

"You can't get more 'jangle' than this.... If you ever wanted to hear a mix of Paul Westerberg and The Monkees - pick this one up!" -Powerpopaholic dot com

"super recommendable." -Power Pop Action!

"The Janglemen certainly live up to their name and the album "Tearjerker and 9 others." -PowerPop Overdose

Staten Island gets short shrift in the New York Music Scene - but oddly enough the best music stores are here, and it's where a lot of the best musicians live.

This record is in the best tradition of jangle artists - Petty, McGuinn, the real wall of sound, not some BS half assed production gimmick.

I have friends in Amsterdam who think this is the height of cool.

Tearjerker & 9 Others
Pop like it used to be, melodic, quirky.
Retro modern in good way.

Jerker Emanuelson

Excellent pop
I was very pleased to find this band and this great album. If you like pop that jangles with great hooks, this is for you. This is one of the better new bands that I have discovered in a while.
