Multi-Platinum, Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter/producer, Janice Dempsey (JD) has worked with some of the greatest artists of our time. A partial list would include Chaka Khan, Freddie Jackson, Smokey Robinson, Luther Vandross, SWV, Daryl Hall, Roberta Flack, Najee, Alex Bougnon, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, as well as her brother, the truly incredible Greg Howe, and many many others.

“Pay Attention”, Janice’s third solo release, passionately displays the core talents of this unique, diverse and gifted artist. JD brings the track production talents of Hip-Hop virtuoso, Scram Jones (Mariah Carey/Notorious B.I.G). on “Free”, and straight out of Bedrock, Da Flynstonez (Mary J. Blige) on “Don’t Cry” and “This is For the Boyz” along with the seasoned talents of Grammy Award winning multi-Platinum producer Yasha, a/k/a Rahni Song (Najee, Alex Bougnon) on “Since I Took My Heart Back” and husband and co-producer, multi-instrumentalist engineer/producer Danny Pickering on “Come On” and title track, “Pay Attention”. Also featured on the album is up and coming Rapper, Joe Millionaire and the Cleanup Crew, (on “Come On” and “Don’t Cry”) who’s current single, “Do Da Michael Jackson” is creating a serious industry buzz.
