Jeff Archer - Project Leader
Jeff has been in show business since he was 6 years old.
His first gig was as a double for Charlie Herbert in the Paramount Picture"Houseboat" starring Sophia Loren and
Cary Grant. Jeff caught the band bug in the mid 60's and played in local DC-Metro bands that included: The Kaisers, Bittersweet, Inside Strait, The Belairs, Osiris, and Our Pleasure.
As a teenager he backed up such classic
groups as the Coasters, the Drifters,The Clovers, BJ Thomas and he was even a Shondell for the night, all at the old Stardust Inn (Waldorf, Md.)
Jeff is now recording and gigging in his hometown of Annapolis Maryland. He also played gigs for many years in Ocean City Maryland.
Over the last few years Jeff has returned to his father's crooning roots (Gene Archer WRC-NBC) and plays for area eldercares as a labor of love. He also has recorded in 2003 (Angels without Wings) a charity LP for Linda Greenbergs Giving Back Foundation that helps area homeless.
100% of the CD sales went to the charity.
Some of his other recording credits include Lonnie Mack (South), Osiris and many prominent DC area artist including Ron Holloway.
Jeff presently performs and records with: the Jeff Archer Group (JAG), The Our Pleasure Band, The Bad Weather Boyz and The Gorgeous band.
