Album Notes

Jarrah sings with an eloquent and fierce tenderness born of a still place, her music melts.

Her music is soulful acoustic, with a simple minimalist guitar style that touches deeply.

“Completely devastating and disarming - beautiful songs, tender and kind guitar playing, and authentic voice.”

"Jarrah's voice cracks you open. She sings like a lion with courageous and raw vulnerability."

Evolution’s daughter is Jarrah's first full length album. Most of these tracks were recorded outside in forests, by inlets & creeks, in backyards on minidisc. The rest were recorded in the homespun studios of different friends.
