These songs are as tasty as an old-fashion malted milk shake . . . refreshing as a cruise along Memory Lane Boulevard; coast on up to the corner of Fifties & Sixties Avenue . . . load up the T-Bird with your family and friends for a ride into the past and experience the magical feel of an era in America’s musical history when life was not so rushed; times were simpler, and the music reflected a young, romantic age of innocence and wonder. See if you don’t agree . . . Doo Wop Dreams is a like finding a musical time capsule in your own backyard.

Behind the Scenes of Doo Wop Dreams:

What began as a hired song demo session for Recording Artist Jason Whited turned into a full-scale record album production after songwriter Steve Adamczyk heard the results of his first several Doo Wop demos sung by Whited and produced by Brad Miller, a multi-talented musician and owner of Ace Of Diamonds Studios in Murfreesboro, TN.

"When I read up on Whited I found that his singing career began in Pittsburgh, PA where he was recognized as one of the area's must see oldies acts." Adamczyk said. "He obviously still holds that style of music close to his heart and his smooth vocals are the perfect fit for my series of brand new doo-wop songs."

Steve noted that he was equally impressed with Miller's professionalism, and his remarkable harmonies. Brad hired renowned tenor sax player John Heinrich to add an authentic 50s and 60s flavoring of nostalgia to the mix.

"I was knocked out by how Jason and Brad captured the heart and soul of the 50's & 60's musical era. They weren't even born when this type of music was topping the Charts, and yet they know how to execute it perfectly. They both understand it; they both 'get' it."

Doo Wop Dreams is the result of three very diverse and undeniably talented individuals who combined their passion for creating music of the highest caliber in order to give oldies fans of all ages a breathtaking journey back to a magical time in music's history.

Vocalist Jason Whited has a golden vocal style reminiscent of music icons from the 50's and 60's era.
Producer Brad Miller captures the essence of that time period musically and his harmonies are flawless.
Songwriter Steve Adamczyk has proven he can, and does, make songs just like they used to!

A Note from Jason:

"I am honored to be a part of Steve's Doo Wop Dreams project and thank him, and Brad for all they have done in order to bring this album to completion. Hopefully, fans of all ages and generations will enjoy the album. . .let's keep Doo Wop Music alive by introducing it to a brand-new generation of listeners!" ~ Jason Whited

Doo Wop Dreams

Those rare "feel good" moments in life
Listening to these songs by Adamczyk, authentically delivered by Jason, does deliver some of those RARE feel good moments we can't seem to capture much any more now that we're over the rainbow and heading for the final roundup. Love every track. Thanks so much fellas!

Great!
The new Doo Wop Dreams CD sounds great! What a great tribute to that classic style of music. Well done!

Dreamy for sure....
Doo Wop Dreams, I believe, is the perfect name for this album as the songs do seem to have a dreamy quality to them. I heard these songs for the first time with my boyfriend, who at the time I had just started dating- so they bring back warm memories :). I love the diversity and really want to go dancing to the song, "Saturday Night."

Like Magic!
This has got to be one of the highlights of this year....I've been working radio for 30 years - I LOVE this kind of music! Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I was born in 1956 myself. I've been blessed with music like this all my life and Jason is giving the true sound of Doo Wop, just as I've been raised with. Truly. . .this is Jason's gem of music. Excellent! I will be pleased to put out all the songs on my shows; this fits my program like magic!!!

Sean Green, Host of The Irish Connection

brilliant album!
I love the album! It transcends you back in time. . .congratulations to Steve Adamczyk who wrote all the songs, Brad Miller who produced it, and of course, Jason Whited who put the voice to the music to make it come out to such a fine album!!

Jason is the real deal!
“…the songs are a step back in time and real Doo Wop the way it should be performed. There are many pretenders out there who in my opinion would not have a clue. Jason is the real deal…”

Great CD Takes You Back To Simpler Time
Jason Whited takes you back to a simpler time ,with his stellar vocal renditions of another fine sampling of songwriter Steve Adamczyk's creative work. From ballads with striking harmonies like "This Ring, Shy Girl and My Sweet Girl," to 50's-type classics such as " Do I Still Love You, Little Angel and Saturday Night," Brad Miller of Ace of Diamonds Studios captures the authentic feel of early Rock and Roll and Rhythm and Blues. Espeically poignant and beautiful, are the tender "Touch Me and If It's The Last Thing (I Ever Do)." An excellent addition to the collection of any 50's/60's music aficionados.

Completely Captures the era!
“When I first listened to Doo Wop Dreams the thought that came to mind was ‘This stuff would really sell in Arizona when the Snowbirds are there.’ It completely captures the era. What amazes me is that Jason Whited, although he wasn’t even born yet, sounds like he grew up [sitting] in a booth at a soda fountain complete with the tabletop jukebox. As far as Steve Adamcyzyk writing the material… it’s no surprise as he is old. LOL! Good job Steve and Jason! This CD is a great addition to our library.”

A trip down memory lane
I grew up during doo-wop years and this album sounds so much like the music of my youth. Its very polished and professional, but more than that, its just plain fun. This album should be in everyone's collection.

Sweet Surrender
A delightful collection that both harkens back and still sounds fresh. Jason's vocals is a perfect match for Steve's songwriting and Ace of Diamonds wraps it all up with a bow. Smoooooooooth and enjoyable.
