Jasper Blom - tenor sax
Jesse van Ruller - guitar
Frans van der Hoeven - bas
Martijn Vink - drums

The Jasper Blom Quartet features musicians with whom Jasper Blom has had an intensive musical relationship over the past years culminating in a composition assignment for the
Jazz International Festival in Rotterdam.
In 2007 their first CD was recorded, “Statue of Liberty” featuring the music of Jasper Blom.

Guitarist Jesse van Ruller has established an international reputation since winning the Thelonious Monk Award and can be considered as one of the top jazzguitarists of the world.
Jesse and Jasper have been sharing the stage for years playing each others music on sessions and concerts, and organizing tours and recording sessions.

Frans van der Hoeven (bass) is probably the most sought after jazzbassist in the Netherlands and has played with every major jazz soloist passing through the Benelux ao Clark Terry, Johnny Griffin, Art Farmer, Tom Harrell and Kurt Rosenwinkel.
He regularly plays with Jack deJohnette in the Mike Del Ferro trio.
Both Frans van der Hoeven and Martijn Vink are cofounders of Red, Yellow and Blue.

Martijn Vink has rapidly established himself as one of Europes most wanted drummers through his work with the Metropole Orchestra, New Cool Collective, the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and many other bands.
Martijns name appears regularly on the programs of international festivals as accompanist of master musicians as David Liebman, Joe Lovano and Boyan Z.
