Album Notes

Jasper Brown - Raised in the southeastern deserts of New Mexico, Jasper began performing gospel music in local churches at the age of three. He proved to be a man ahead of his time, after being barred from several churches for singing the Chuck Berry classic "My ding-a-ling"during Sunday evening service at the age of four.
As you can tell from the sound that comes out of "the plan" that Jasper never looked back in forging a music that is unique to his experience and expression of life.

i was watching a documentary called " american meth " when i first heard jasper . at first it reminded me of a great cross-breed between mark lanegan and grant lee buffalo . whoever picked the songs for this film is on it , every song is great , but the standouts are all jasper , who carries most of the soundtrack ! ican't wait to pick up this disc . i'm glad i live in portland , so i can drive there and pick it up a.a.p. . i will write another review after i've played the thing a million times . jasper brown will be in heavy rotation !!
