2004 is shaping up to be the year of JASPER STREET CO. ("JSC"). Following the commercial and critical success of their remix compilation, "Interpretations," and the chart-topping singles "Praisin' His Name" featuring the legendary Ann Nesby (of Sounds of Blackness) and "Another Day," JSC now unveils "Stand!" the group's debut full-length release on Basement Boys Records' new God's House Records sub-label. JSC's "Stand!" is a testament to the powerful fusion of faith and soul.
"Stand!" has been receiving a tremendous amount of pre-release hype and praise, as advance copies have led to radio airplay in NYC, Philadelphia, Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, DC and Greensboro. A multitude of album cuts, such as "Got Me Going," "God Helps Those (Who Help Themselves)," "Praisin' His Name," "Joy" and "He's Alright," are being embraced by gospel and mainstream radio.
The gospel-house scene is exploding, with a rich diversity that is bringing new fans to faith-based music. JSC is primed to be celebrated as a leader of the new gospel-house movement with "Stand!" Known and loved for their infectious club tracks, like the album's lead singles "Praisin' His Name" and "God Helps Those (Who Help Themselves)," JSC serves up more gospel-house gems with "Joy" and "Another Day."
