She has a master's degree in Early Childhood and undergraduate degree in musical performance.
Julie has made several award winning children's recordings as a solo artist and with the SongSisters, a duo that played together for 10 years.

She sings and accompanies herself on guitar, autoharp, jawharp, recorders, African drum, and even the nose flute! Her warmth and sense of humor as well as her musical expertise make her a favorite of audiences everywhere.
