Javelyn, an artist whose voice and music soothes straight to the heart, while kicking one's butt... mixing melodic highs and lows to the funky beat of the street. Javelyn is a modern day piped piper, an artist for the life and times in which we live. Javelyn is rising up out of the indie pop world, where people choose who and what they want to listen to. Now approaching mainstream, she is one of the freshest rising stars on the music scene, working with a variety of producers and musician -- an 'everywoman' singing songs that touch common chords of everyday life that everyone can relate to. The first CD "Lady J: Music For the Soul" had a great deal of radio play nationally and overseas. One of her tunes "Take This Chance" charted on the Gavin charts between Sarah MacLachlan and Janet Jackson. Two of her songs were in the top ten of the mp3.com Power Pop charts.

Javelyn has played all around Los Angeles, and done two small national tours. Presently, Javelyn hosts and performs in two indie music nites a month, "Java With Javelyn", in Los Angeles, and is working on a small EP of high energy dance and funk music with several producers due end of summer.
