Album Notes

Javier Otero's uniqueness comes from the way he combines his latin and flamenco roots with modern and classical musical styles. A direct message comes from his music: "Universality".
Composer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, attended to EMC, Berklee College's affiliate in Spain, UCLA and Film Music Institute. Among his masters: Gary Burton, Robert Fripp, Ayub Ogada, Sheila Chandra, Scott Smalley... More studies in Acting, World-Dance and Law School. He's worked directing and hosting Radio and TV shows, also in the Educational field teaching seminars and for Los Angeles School District.
More than 300 works used in soundtracks for television programs, documentaries, dance troupes, theatre and commercials. Seven recordings on his own name, and collaborations with acclaimed musicians Emilio Estefan, Desmond Child, Miguel Bose, Alejandro Lerner (Santana), John Beasley (Miles Davis), Neil Stubenhaus (Quincy Jones), Jon Gilutin (James Taylor), Joey Heredia (Stevie Wonder), Rique Pantoja (Milton Nascimento, Djavan ), Krassimir (Bulgarian Superstar), Julio Figueroa (Michael Jackson, Enrique Iglesias), J. Morelli (Al Jarreau), among others. Also touring he's played at important venues as Universal-Gibson Amphiteatre, Kodak Theatre, NAMM Show en USA, and appearances in TV-shows as Cronicas Marcianas in Spain.

Javier Otero tiene una forma unica de combinar sus raizes hispanas con la diversidad de estilos ,modernos y clasicos, que integra en su musica. El mensaje de este viajero del mundo es claro: "Universalidad".
Compositor, interprete multiinstrumentista y productor, su formacion pasa por la EMC - filial de Berklee College en Madrid-, UCLA y el FIlm Music Institute de California. Entre sus maestros: Gary Burton, Robert Fripp, Ayub Ogada, Sheila Chandra, Scott Smalley...Otros estudios en Arte Dramatico, Danza y Derecho.
Trabaja como realizador y locutor en Radio y TV, tambien en la docencia impartiendo Seminarios y para el Distrito de Escuela de Los Angeles.
Sus catalogo de composiciones abarca mas de 300 obras utilizadas en Teatro, Danza,TV y publicidad. Como cantautor y productor, 7 albumes bajo su nombre, y colaboraciones con artistas como Emilio Estefan, Desmond Child, Fito Paez, Miguel Bose, Alejandro Lerner (Santana), John Beasley (Miles Davis), Neil Stubenhaus (Quincy Jones), Jon Gilutin (James Taylor), Joey Heredia (Stevie Wonder), Rique Pantoja (Milton Nascimento, Djavan ), Krassimir (Bulgarian Superstar), Julio Figueroa (Michael Jackson, Enrique Iglesias), J.
