Jaxter's rap style is one part gangsta, one part horror. Influenced by Geto Boys, Esham, NWA, C-Bo, Gangsta Nip, etc Jaxter has developed a very wild flow, strong story telling skills and a unique midwest perspective. Repping for his hometown Witchita, his W-Town records has been busy prepping several Jaxter releases and a compilation. Says Jaxter, "My sound is well rounded and everyone from any part of the map will like these tracks." Having grew up on hip hop, Jaxter got serious about his music in prison. With nothing but time, Jaxter focused on writing and spitting lyrics with other inmates and built one hell of a reputation. Post-incarceration, Jaxter built his owe studio and created the label, began recording with some of his favorite and well respected artists Insane Poetry, ADR Lavey, K Rino, Point Blank and others. Jaxter signed with Long Range Distribution for 3 albums. A video is now available for "Trapped in a 40 oz. Bottle" and Jaxter has begun to tour to promote his release.
