Jay Ax was born in Brooklyn, New York. Since a young boy Jay Ax also known as VodkaStr8 has had the gift of telling real life stories using his words. It wasnt until he was sixteen years old after he made a name for himself battling artists while residing in Jersey he decided to record his stories in the studio at Blak Houz Rekordingz and Tre 8 Studios. Since then Jay Ax has released five mixtapes selling a total of over twelve thousand copies. Jay Ax, or Vodka, has also been on tour and opened for T-Pain, Wyclef Jean, Khia, Keith Murray, Jae Millz, and a few other artists just to name a few. In present day Jay Ax is in the studio creating his next release, his debut album. "His sound varies to the mood that he's in, its just that real" says a faithful fan after a show at the SOB's night club in New York City!
