Album Notes

Jaycatt Nico started taking piano lessons at around 8 years old. He is influenced strongly by Mannheim Steamroller's "Fresh Aire" albums, which he would play for piano recitals. His musical style is hard to describe, but centers around new age, boogie, and jazz. Around age 16 he stopped taking piano lessons, because it just seemed like too much work to learn to play material he could just as easily listen to on the stereo. Due to typical teenage distractions, the piano bench sat empty for years.

That all changed when Frogg Marlowe got Jaycatt playing again by including him in his weekly Second Life shows. Jaycatt started filling in during Frogg's breaks, and these days they have over an hour of duets they can play. Jaycatt does have an album for sale and an album of duets with Frogg is in the works.
