Album Notes

JAYDEN FROST Songwriter/Vocalist/Musician In 2006, Jayden Frost took the temporary position as the voice and face of a well known pop band called WHEN IN ROME on their year long extensive US tour bringing his positive energy to stage performance, radio interviews and television. Some of the acts that Jayden has shared the stage with include: Devo (Whip It!), A Flock Of Seagulls (I Ran), Bow Wow Wow (I Want Candy), The Psychedlic Furs (Pretty In Pink), Animotion (Obsession), Deborah Gibson (Only In My Dreams/Foolish Beat), and Tommy Tutone (867-5309). Jayden felt right at home on some of the best stages in the country. Some of the venues Jayden has recently performed at include: The Greek Theatre (Los Angeles),The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (San Francisco), City Lights Pavilion (Denver, CO), Reliant Center (Houston), Fair Park (Dallas). Under a pen name, Jayden also co-wrote “Country Girl by DF DUB that reached Rick Dee’s weekly top 40 in 2004, and was the most requested song from that year on Dallas’ 106.1 KISS FM. Jayden is now pursuing his dream of being a CCM artist, and will release a new album in the Summer of 2007. Check back here for more details!

REVIEWS

Soft, mellow pop/rock that's catchy and emotional.

First and foremost, this CD is awesome! Many of the songs follow a general pattern of instrumentation, meaning that the listener must like piano, strings, and acoustic guitar (which, by the way, have been very nicely assembled). While every song is worthwhile, the best ones are tracks 2, 3, and 11. I would have given this 5 stars easily under two conditions: 1) While the production was fine, I feel it could have been better in some parts, and 2) Jayden sounds great when he sings, except, again, a few parts seemed like they needed a bit of work. Also, more complimetary female vocals/chorals over the strings and piano would be a major plus! Definately buy this record if you are a fan of When In Rome or bands like Blue October (synthpop group), OMD, and the softer songs of Erasure and Pet Shop Boys.
