Album Notes

Jaydub and Dino are Jeff Falconer and Dennis Cordellos, two Sonoma, Ca. locals who played together in their first rock band in 1968, when they were both teenagers. Though eventually separated by geography and karmic flux, the boys followed remarkably similar trajectories, both enjoying long stints as professional rockers, achieving regional acclaim and having loads of fun, Dennis based in Phoenix, Az. and Jeff in Atlanta, Ga.

Returning to the stream where they were spawned, our heroes reunited in Sonoma County in the early Nineties, and have played together in many different aggragations since.

Recognizing that some of their most fulfilling moments came when simply jamming on acoustic guitars,Jeff and Dennis decided to begin performing as an acoustic duo,and Jaydub and Dino was born! They went into Grizzly Studios in Petaluma, Ca. in 2007 and recorded \"Porch Groove\" live. The CD perfectly captures the feel of a Jaydub and Dino show: Driving guitars, excellent tunes, soothing vocals, and the unmistakable, elusive Essence of Porch.
