& his debut album 1565 Patiently Waiting….

For singer/songwriters, it’s about the music… the lyric… the story… the life experiences and views kept so private for many years until those that have heard the voice start to rally for it to be heard by many.

To say Melbourne singer/songwriter Jay P is an intriguing man is an understatement…. to think it’s taken this long to discover his music is almost unforgivable.

Jay P’s contemporary pop singer/songwriter style harks back to the 1970’s, songs that come straight from the heart, based on real life experiences, positive with deep and soulful lyrics – the more you listen to Jay P’s songs, the more you find yourself mesmerised, not only by his distinctive voice, but also by his music as well as the spiritual and positive message.

His debut album is a gentle mix of balladry and mid-tempo rockers - the song Think Ahead to Go Ahead made such an impact that Alzheimer’s Australia Vic has adopted it as the theme song for an upcoming advertising campaign.

Jay P captures all of our thoughts, loves, imaginations and years gone by on his debut album 1565 Patiently Waiting to be launched on the 19th March at The Toff in Town.
