Great music! I can't imagine a world without smooth jazz. Saw you at Toads with Marion a few years back Jay.... un-freakin' believable!

Acoustic piano smooth jazz at its best
author: Al in San Diego
Comparison to David Benoit is very apt; Jay's playing is just as melodic, rythmic, infectious, and virtuosic. And the production is first class. Highly recommended.

I love the style

Every song on this CD has something for me to like about it. I enjoy the style of the songs and the way they're written and performed. Excellent composition...this is feel good music, something you can listen to anywhere, anytime. Chillin at home, cruisin through town, whatever you're doing, this CD will compliment that. EXCELLENT!

Feel good music!
author: Smoothjazz.com Review
I consider myself especially discriminating when it comes to piano players. I play a little piano myself you know. Since the age of 12... Unfortunately, I'm sorry to say, I didn't keep up with the lessons (just like my parents predicted), but I remain forever fond of the instrument and the craft. So, with that biographical tidbit in mind, allow me to introduce you to a damn good jazz pianist, and to his new album, RED, HOT & SMOOTH. His name is Jay Rowe, and I was impressed with his music back when I programmed Smooth Jazz in Monterey, CA. When Jay called me out of the blue a few weeks ago from his home in Connecticut, and told me about his new project. I said, "I remember you, I liked your music then, and I bet I'll dig the new album." So he sent it to me, indeed I love it, and I'm recommending it to you. Jay's got it down, with engaging melodies, hot grooves, and sweet ballads, all impeccably performed and produced. RED, HOT & SMOOTH is a totally captivating, enjoyable listening experience. All ten of the tunes are Jay Rowe originals, and every one of them is golden. I especially like the first radio track, "The End of Summer," featuring Ken Navarro on acoustic guitars. I listen to music first and foremost to feel good, and Jay Rowe's music makes me feel real good and that's what it's all about for us music fans! ~SCOTT O'BRIEN
