Album Notes

Jayson Rowley was born on Cinco de Mayo, 1978 in Fountain Valley, CA. He plays a variety of stringed instruments like guitars, banjo, weissenborn, oud, and other ethnic and stringed instruments. Mostly he uses these as a medium to create the unique sound and songwriting he has developed.

"I find that if I write a song on the oud, and then adapt it for guitar or weissenborn, it takes on a different life than it would have if that song had spent it's entire life on a 6-string guitar. Sometimes songs are born on a banjo or a mandolin, but grow up and live most of their lives on my guitar!"

Walk the World is Jayson Rowley's debut album and boasts an impressive list of supporting musicians including Wally Ingram (Sheryl Crow, Stockholm Syndrome), Jelani Jones (World Anthem), Frank Cotinola (Missiles of October), Doug Scott, Sid Greenbaum, and Tom Fitzgerald.
Tom Fitzgerald produces the album.
