As someone who is been interested in Shakespeare and in music for as long as I can remember, it was only a matter of time until I combine the two. 'Shakespeare Songs' pays humble homage to the English language's most famous author by setting his words to a broad range of musical styles and techniques, and by using NYC's most vibrant young musicians to bring them to life. The end result is be a CD that is a unique snapshot of the music scene today, bringing together versatile musicians and diverse musical styles around the words that still move millions every year for the past four centuries.
