June Bisantz Evans is a visual artist and musician, who has co-written and produced several albums of original jazz, all of which received national attention. She has recorded with distinguished jazz and pop musicians such as Steve Swallow, Bob Moses, Lou Soloff and Will Lee. Her new release "Let's Fall in Love" is a collection of jazz ballads based on the vocal music of legendary trumpet player Chet Baker. The CD features Alex Nakhimsovsky on piano, Norman Johnson on guitar, Genevieve Rose on bass, Greg Caputo on drums and Gabor Viragh on trumpet and flugelhorn.
