ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
J.B. Kline is a solid, seasoned performer with 30 years of steady playing under his belt. Starting with local New Jersey bands whose members would go on to play with Bruce Springsteen and Patti LaBelle, Jeff moved to N.Y.C. and performed with such noted acts as the Drifters, Chuck Berry, Solomon Burke, the Crystals, the Shirelles, Fats Domino, Bo Diddley, the Marvellettes, George Thorogood, Mitch Ryder, and even the Beach Boys! Recently J.B. Kline has performed with Marshall Tucker, Shannon McNally, Big Brother & The Holding Company, Rick Derringer, Guitar Shorty, Johnny Winter, and B.B.King!!

J.B. Kline has been known to say, “You’ve gotta feel it or it don’t mean nothin’ at all .....I'd rather squeeze a pound of soul into one note, than to play 250 notes” As anyone who’s been to one of his performances can tell you, J.B. Kline definitely “feels it” when he is singing and playing his guitar -- and you can feel it too! His stark emotional style of R&B and blues-based music takes him and you to exciting, almost orgasmic places. J.B. Kline is worth seeing, hearing and feeling!

"Music Mountain" is the first release from J.B. Kline, and it contains eleven of his most soulful songs. It also contains some of his most requested songs; "Tell It Like It Is" and "That's How Strong My Love Is." Besides J.B. on guitar, it features harmonica legend Steve Guyger, Ed Wall on keyboards, and some other great musicians.
The album has sort of an acoustic edge to it, as compared to his live show, which generally is more electric.

"It is one of the most listenable CDs we 've heard this year!" - Philadelphia Gazette.

The songs on "Music Mountain" are already starting to get airplay and requests for the CD are exceeding expectations...we know you will enjoy it!

The cover of the "Music Mountain" album, pictures the famous Lambertville Music Circus. From it's location on Music Mountain, Lambertville, N.J., there emanated some of the greatest music and entertainment the area has ever experienced!
As a boy, J.B. Kline spent a lot of time there. Friends with the owner, he hung backstage with artists such as B.B. King, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Butterfield.
Music Mountain was, and is, a magical place!

Mountain Music
This is professional music quality with hometown heart. It's good for Sundays around the house, driving around the Jersey Pine Barrens, or turning friends on to some good tunes. New Jersey is the great untapped resource for heart-felt acoustic music, and J.B. Kline is keeping it alive.
