A Diva in her own right, Joan Cartwright has always been close to the center of the music scene from Jazz in Harlem to Hiphop in Atlanta, where she shares a studio with her daughter, Mimi Johnson of Caustic Dames. Joan's newest release is a compilation of recordings made since 1983 to the present.

Well, Joan is certainly one of the most talented singer songwriters in the business, she can hold her own with the very best. A very interesting project, this.The samples definitely left me wanting to hear more. Joan is a smoothe Jazz vocalist with an R&B flava to her sound. She's also a hot mama hipster hanging out with her outrageously talented cutting edge hip hop diva daughter. You go ladies! The band is hot-the tracks are clean. Whant more can I say? Good work -knock'em dead y'all!
