One look into the average human lifestyle and it is clear we were made to be worshipers. With the amount of attention we are prone to place on relationships and material things, it’s impossible not to call it worship. The goal of the James Chester Band is to redirect worship to the only one who deserves it.

Increase the Decrease, the full-length worship album written and produced by James, was recorded with the help of Aaron Gotwalt (guitars), Adam Ryan (drums), and Fran Lukesh (keys, bass). The group came together with a common vision to create quality music for the sometimes artistically disengaged Church. The counter-intuitive title was intentionally selected to capture the idea that as we are transformed and our perspective of God changes,
we become less and He becomes more. Each of the nine songs were written with joy, conviction, and purpose; they’re songs that James hopes will help facilitate a lifestyle of
worship in others.
