Album Notes

Jen Clarke was born and raised on a farm in Delaplane Virginia at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Her musical influences vary wildly due to her upbringing. From Wagner to Ellington, the Seldom Scene to Bonnie Raitt she learned to play it all. Now residing on Martha's Vineyard married to actor/commedian Lenny Clarke and working as a commercial fishing captain she is releasing "More Then I Have". It is a stunning debut and is already recieving rave reviews and steady play on WMVY (www.mvyradio.com). Jen is already a sought after songwriter in Nashville and has been co-writing with some of the best there for several years. This brought her to the attention of Nashville producer and Vice president of Disney Records Fred Mollin. After hearing a four song demo Fred gathered some of Music City's best session players and over the past two years completed "More Then I Have". It also features some Boston reordings with guitar greats Duke Levine (Peter Wolf, Mary Chapin Carpenter) and Stu Kimball (Peter Wolf, Bob Dylan)among others. It is engaging, original, strongly personal but completely accesible and bound to thrill music fans across the country and around the world.
