Album Notes

Jen Clarke was born and raised on a farm in Delaplane, Virginia at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Her musical influences vary wildly due to her upbringing. From Wagner to Ellington, the Seldom Scene to Bonnie Raitt, she learned to play it all. Now residing on Martha\'s Vineyard married to actor/comedian Lenny Clarke and working as a commercial fishing captain Jen released More Than I Have. It is a stunning debut receiving rave reviews and steady play on WMVY (mvyradio.com). Jen is a sought after songwriter in Nashville and has been co-writing with some of the best there for several years. This brought her to the attention of Nashville producer and Vice President of Disney Records Fred Mollin. After hearing a four song demo Fred gathered some of Music City\'s best session players and produced More Than I Have. The record also features some incredible Boston recordings with guitar greats Stu Kimball (Bob Dylan) and Duke Levine (Mary Chapin Carpenter, Peter Wolf) among others. Jen\'s music is engaging, original, strongly personal but completely accessible and bound to thrill music fans across the country and around the world.
