Hi this J.D. Bauman.
some of my favorite country singers have came from California, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Gary Allen, off the top of my head. I worked on this album for over a year trying to preserve some of country music's most precious traditions just as they would have. I had help with some of Nashville's best players from the past and present.
In no particular order I like to list some of these players. if you listen to country radio you have probably heard them a million times already.
Chad Cromwell on drums. Chad is a monster on drums. Chad’s studio works with artists such as Sugarland, Gretchen Wilson, Trisha Yearwood, Marty Stewart, Neil Young, and Miranda Lambert.
Glenn Worf on bass. Glenn is the bass player of all bass players.having credits on Brooks and Dunn's,George strait,Reba McEntire, Jason Michael Carroll,Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton,Toby Keith, Kellie Pickler, Faith Hill, and George Jone's albums and that's just in 2009
Bruce boutin on steel guitar, Bruce is Garth Brook's right-hand man. Bruce says played on every Garth Brooks album ever released. He also played steel guitar on some of Brooks and Dunns first albums that shaped their mega-careers.Bruce is currently on tour with Reba McEntire.
Chris Leuzinger on lead guitar,
Chris was also on all of the Garth Brooks records. If you have the time looked up Chris on Google or Yahoo there is not enough room on this page to even begin to tell you what Chris has done in his career.
George Martinelli on acoustic guitar,
George Is an A list session player. George taught me about how Nashville recording works. any time I walked away after having a conversation with him, I walked away a wiser man, thanks George.
Richard Bennett on the electric guitar,
Richard Bennett’s résumé is just silly; it’s just flat out ridiculous. Not only has the guy been with Mark Knopfler’s studio and road band since the mid-1990’s but he spent seventeen years as Neil Diamond’s guitar player before that.
Harry Stenson on background vocals,
A jack of many musical trades, Harry Stinson can easily step into the country boots of a drummer, producer, songwriter, or background singer. During his long career he has worked with extraordinary artists like Susan Ashton, Clint Black, Suzy Bogguss, Faith Hill, Dan Seals, Wynonna Judd, George Jones, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, and numerous others, patching together a list that reads like the who's who in country music. I have to mention a very big thank you two Harry for all the help on this album.
the final product? pure country music.
so crack a cold beer or open a good bottle of wine, and enjoy "send it east"
