REVIEWS

A thoughtful Journey through a school year or a career
author: Liz
This CD will have a special place in the heart of any teacher, or any former student, for that matter. While the focus is on a year, the songs evoke a lifetime of classroom memories. I'm sure many of us have met William the Janitor, or a Mr. Ryan. Great clarity, pace, and variety. And a great gift for any old or new teacher.

Timeless Songs!
author: Ellen VanWarren
These songs are timeless. First-year teachers, retiring teachers, anywhere in between--you will all love this CD. I especially love Thirty Years, a beautiful retirement song, and That'd Be All Right With My Soul, a hand-clapping lift your spirits song! This is a good companion piece to Judy's original Teacher Therapy CD. Both contain funny and reflective songs for teachers.

A Great review of your school days whether you are a teacher or an ex student
author: Don J Carlson,
As an ex teacher and an ex student, I was reminded of everything I had forgotten that ever happened in school. Judy has a brilliant insight into all the lives she explores in this album of original songs. It is a wonderful, joyful, lonesome and memorable journey into the triumphs and troubles of teaching.

Great second album; great songs; great voice.
author: Jim Hickam
Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Bowen's second effort to showcase just what teaching is all about, and she succeds wonderfully! The songs are fresh, new (except for one), and the tunes are lively. Her voice is fresh and distinctive. Fun listening but at the same time quite to the point. They continue the theme of the first album wonderfully and without duplication of subject matter. Any teacher would be pleased to own this CD.
