As well as being a talented songwriter and singer, J. D Haring also breathes new life into the mastery of the acoustic guitar. This coupled with his spontaneous wit and sense of humor makes him an entertainer of considerable depth and range.

His many years of stage experience have lead to the development of his extensive repertoire, and have created J. D.’s great diversity as a dynamic, energetic, live performer. Add to this, his engaging rapport with his audience, and you have entertainment of the highest professional standards.
Since the mid-nineteen seventies, J. D. has lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in the Great Southwest while touring the United States. J. D. has done numerous concert performances at colleges, universities and for the military. J. D. has also performed as opening act for such notables as; Ian Tyson, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Billy Joe Shaver, Crystal Gayle, The New Riders of the Purple Sage and Jose Greco. J. D. has also appeared as a guest artist in Denmark and Sweden with Tomboola Band, Ivan Johnson Band, Teddy Edelmann and Leif Kerstein and the Winchesters.

J. D. has toured most of the United States for many years and is currently enjoying success in Europe and Scandinavia. As a result, J. D. has begun to tour in Europe, including engagements in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Romania and Ireland.

J. D.’s second CD entitled “Balladeer”, an “all Danish” production of twelve more of J. D.’s songs is scheduled for release in the late summer of 2008.

The first single from this album, a new production of “The Bad Times Aren’t So Bad” has been released to Danish radio and since it’s release to www.garageband.com has remained in the top 25 on the Americana charts on for over four months.
