If you like the music of Carlos Santana, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd, REM, Black Foot, Chuck Berry or the J.Geils Band. Then you have to hear J.D.Silver and thier latest CD” Love Is Not Forever”. J.D.Silver are recording artist from the Western New York and Buffalo area.
The band consists of two main members James "Bordo" Bordonaro and Don "Skotty" Skotnicki. Jim provides the solid rhythm base throughout the entire CD as Don lays down the leads and additional rythyms as well as most vocal tracks. Paul Musilli owner of the nationally known Buffalo Drum Outlet has performed all drum tracks on the latest CD. Paul and Don have been friends and worked together over the past twenty years.
Numerous guest artists who have performed both locally and with national acts have performed on the CD, which was released december of 2005. Each song on the CD has a unique sound from a hard driving southern blues harmonica , to a fifties guitar melody song as a trbute to Chuck Berry, to the soft unique sound of acoustics and a flute.
