Album Notes

Jean-Guy Vailles is an independent musician who composes, performs and produces his own music. When he was young, he took piano lessons for about 5 years and continued to perfect his art on his own. He stopped playing the piano in his teens and the encounter of a Violist and his future wife has awakened his musical soul. Then, he started to practice and compose again.

He is influenced by different schools of music like Rock, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Progressive Rock (Yes, Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Octobre, etc.) and Classical music. While in the first album you will find a unique sound going between classical and jazz music, in the second one, the music is much closer to the jazz fusion and progressive rock.
